Is food provided?
Before School Programme
Weetbix and porridge is provided.
After School Programme
We provide a healthy afternoon tea. This usually consists of sandwiches or toast together with fruit and vegetables.
Sweet treats such as cake are kept for special occasions such as birthdays and a few other holidays.
Holiday Programme
As with the After School Care, we provide a healthy afternoon tea, as well as morning tea.
Children must bring their own lunch, however we’re happy to cook noodles or heat other food for them.
What do the children do?
The emphasis of this After School Care and Holiday Programme is on children’s rest and recreation under adult supervision.
We provide equipment such as balls, bats, board games, puzzles, books, art materials, Lego, computers and much more, so the children are free to play with whatever they like.
Our amazing team of caregivers will join in with the children and support them.
During the holidays, we set a daily theme and our staff will organise the activity and encourage children to join if they wish.
Is homework supervision offered?
Homework supervision will be offered if requested and circumstances permit. However, our personal philosophy is that children need some free time after a day’s concentrating at school. Homework time is usually kept to the later afternoon after the children have had a chance to unwind.
