Before & After School Care and Holiday Programme
Before School
From 7:00 - 8:30am, we take care of Glenholme and St Mary’s children if you need to get to work before school starts.
Breakfast including weetbix and porridge is provided.
At 8:30am Glenholme children will go to their classrooms. St Mary’s children will take the walking bus to school.
After School
For Glenholme and St Mary’s school children.
Glenholme children come straight to the hall. St Mary’s children take Maryanne’s walking bus to Glenholme.
A helathy afternoon tea is provided and includes fresh fruit, vegetables and sandwiches.
Holiday Programme
Children have the freedom to join in with the daily activities, or do their own thing with all the craft, sport, play and technology items they could dream of.
Children need to bring their own lunch and we provide morning and afternoon tea. We can heat food for their lunch if they need.

In the afternoon, children can relax with a movie
Our fees
We only charge for the time that we’re taking care of your child. That means if your child didn’t come to us due to a last minute change of plans, you will not be charged.
We calculate your fees every 15 minutes, rather than every hour, based on our hourly rates as follows:
Glenholme After School Programme: $8.60 per hour*
Holiday Programme: $225 per week*, or part-days at $6.60 per hour*
*Discounts are available for families with more than one child.
OSCAR support
As an Out of School Care and Recreation (OSCAR) approved centre, you could get financial support.
The OSCAR Subsidy is a payment which helps families with the costs of before and after school care for up to 20 hours a week, and school holiday programmes for up to 50 hours a week.
How to apply:
Check if you are eligible or use the Ministry of Social Development’s check what you might get tool.
You must complete the application form before your child’s first day of care.
If you are eligible, pick up a form from Work and Income or download it here.
Drop it into Maryanne at the Glenholme School hall, or email it to roling@xtra.co.nz and she will submit it on your behalf.

Our spaces are limited, but we do our very best to look after every child that needs it. We would appreciate the earliest notice from you, especially for Holiday Programme bookings.
